1. Introduction and acceptance

Welcome to The Skin and Laser Clinic. By using theskinandlaserclinic.co.za or any of our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Eligibility

The site and our treatments are intended for users aged 18 and over. Minors may only access treatments with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Our services

We provide professional aesthetic and medical skincare treatments and stock related skincare products. The information on this site is general in nature and is not a substitute for an in-person consultation. We always recommend a complimentary consultation before booking any treatment, so we can understand your skin and your goals properly.

4. Results disclaimer

Treatment outcomes vary from person to person. Skin type, lifestyle, age, hormonal factors and how closely you follow your aftercare plan all play a role. We do not guarantee specific results. A consultation is required before any procedure so we can set honest, realistic expectations together.

5. Bookings, cancellations and no-shows

Bookings are taken through our Fresha booking system. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the slot to someone else. Late cancellations and no-shows may incur a fee in line with the cancellation policy provided to you at the time of booking.

6. Pricing and payment

Prices listed on the site or quoted during consultation are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is due at the time of treatment unless we have agreed other arrangements with you in advance. We reserve the right to update prices, and any change will not affect treatments already booked and confirmed.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, images, logos, graphics and design, is the property of The Skin and Laser Clinic or its licensors and is protected under South African and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially use any of it without our written permission.

The four product ranges we stock are registered trademarks of their respective owners:

We are an authorised stockist of these brands. Any references to these marks on our site are nominative and used to describe the products we stock. They do not imply any endorsement, partnership or affiliation beyond a stockist relationship.

8. Third-party links and embeds

Our site may link to or embed third-party services such as Fresha, Google and social platforms. We are not responsible for the content, practices or privacy policies of those services. Where you interact with them, you do so under their own terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Skin and Laser Clinic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of your use of this site or its content. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under South African law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold The Skin and Laser Clinic harmless from any claims, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information under POPIA.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of KwaZulu-Natal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved informally.

13. Dispute resolution

We encourage you to contact us first if you have a concern, so we can try to resolve it directly and quickly. If we cannot reach a resolution, the matter will be referred to the courts identified in section 12.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be posted here, and continued use of the site or our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
